Theatre Crafts & Technology Expo

You must pre-register to participate in ALL design, technology and stage management events

by November 26, 2007 via the

ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.

This is an opportunity for technical directors and theatre crafts persons to showcase their talents. Do you have an "elegant solution" to a production challenge? We are calling on all technical directors, carpenters, riggers, electricians, costume crafts persons, prop persons and technicians to share examples of their creative ingenuity that is so evident throughout our region.

We want you to bring your drawings, gadgets, and projects with you to the festival! Physical presentation of the work, actual costume, prop, mask, wig, special effect piece or photographs of non-transportable pieces can be used as well. Drafting, mock-ups, working drawings, elevations etc. should be presented in an orderly, logical fashion demonstrating the process. You can include representative photographs showing how this piece was used in production and its impact on the production for which it was produced. An explanation of process must accompany work.

The festival will provide vertical panels or tables for the Theatre Crafts & Technology Expo display space. Please provide specific information on your display in the space provided on the registration form.

Faculty, Graduate Students, and Undergraduates are eligible to have their projects displayed. If exhibit space is limited, student works will receive first priority.

NOTE: We cannot accept any presentation that includes live flame or pyrotechnical effects. Electricity may not be available.

Come share your creativity at problem solving with the rest of the region at the festival. Just fill out the entry form and follow the directions at the bottom of the form. You must have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 to use the interactive form. Please download the reader using the link to the left.

Please note that this is not a competition and no prizes will be awarded for any entry.
