Open Jar Institute Scholarship Auditions

Open Jar Productions is an actors training program in NYC. They offer a selective college intensive each summer in NYC where students have the opportunity to connect with the Broadway community. Students work one on one with Broadway directors, casting directors, choreographers, actors and agents.

Each night students go to a Broadway show and also have backstage opportunities. It is truly an incredible experience for the serious musical theater student.

Representatives of the program will be at Region III to audition students for a full scholarship. This scholarship is valued at $1950 and includes one to one training with Broadway Pros, four Broadway Show tickets and all meals.

Auditions will be Jan. 5 with callbacks on Jan. 6. You will be contacted with an audition time.

Bring a short 16-bar audition song that shows you 'at your best'. Bring sheet music clearly marked for an accompanist to play. No CDs allowed.

Bring a headshot/resume.
