Overview
Have a great prop that was built for a show or a class? Have you developed an innovative system of props management? Enter it in Prop-a-Palooza! This event was created to showcase all things prop-related, to share prop construction and management ideas, and to provide props artists and managers feedback on their work.
How to Enter
Students who want to participate in Prop-A-Palooza need to enter their work in the Allied Design and Technologies category of entry, and follow the guidelines provided for that event. On the DTM Registration form, students should describe their entry as a props entry, and indicate they wish to be part of Prop-A-Palooza.
Realized props need to be from associate or participating entries.
Response
One of the respondents to the Allied Design and Technologies Award entrants will be a representative of the Society for Props Artisans and Managers.
The SPAM Respondent will choose outstanding student props work for recognition at the regional awards ceremony. SPAM has traditionally presented the Prop-A-Palooza Award recipient with a book prize.
